Not great at following a path

I’ve been using the X1 Pro for the past four months, primarily to film my mountain biking sessions on narrow, twisty trails. I purchased the unit—along with the cycling package and Beacon—specifically for this purpose, as I was drawn to its narrow route mode and advertised tracking capabilities.

Unfortunately, the experience so far has been frustrating. The unit consistently crashes—usually within just a few minutes of starting—and often struggles to accurately follow the trail. Instead of tracking my path, it tends to cut corners, frequently veering off course and stopping in front of trees or branches.

Additionally, I’ve found the range in manual mode to be very limited, which makes it difficult to operate effectively even in more open sections of the trail.

I hope Hover can resolve these issues, as I’d really like to make the most of this product.

Best gift that didnt last lol

I bought this for my friend and he was so excited and said it was the best gift he has ever received (mind you he's 44 lol). He was so excited to open it and learn, spent a few hours learning, playing charging etc. he took it out to test in the parking garage and loved it (got great footage on his skateboard). Then he was ready to take it out into the real world. I dont know what happened exactly as he wont talk about it, but somehow the drone ended up flying out into the marina and dropping into the ocean. He's been heartbroken ever since lol but all in all 10/10. great drone, the little footage he got was incredible. Customer service when ordering was amazing. Would 100% recommend- just make sure you are not near a body of water when operating :)
